The Airport Hotel Okęcie has a sweet spot – the Czekolada Café, our studio for excellent desserts and a charming café. It’s the perfect place to discuss business, host integration events, family and children’s parties, or just meet and hang out with your friends. Chocolate, coffee and innovative confectionery reign supreme here, complemented by breakfasts, filling snacks, fruit and vegetable cocktails and various drinks.

 
Wrapped in a chocolatey aroma, our Guests energize their bodies and stimulate their senses with delicious light meals, and enjoy sweet, masterfully-made desserts at any time of day. The presence of chocolate is reflected in every detail. You can taste it in the thick, velvety liquids in our wonderful desserts and cakes, and even in our pralines and truffles. Further than this, chocolate sculptures are a response to aesthetic sensitivity. The Czekolada Café is an intimate, artistic place. Painted in the warm brown color of cocoa beans, cut with purple accents that seem to deepen in the reflection of the polished mirrors. It all adds up to create a unique space – a world of chocolate in which you’ll want to return again and again.

The Czekolada Café is a unique project that in just a short time has skyrocketed with extraordinary energy to the position of leader in modern confectionery sales. Opened in 2014, the Café attracts not only the Hotel’s guests, but also connoisseurs from Warsaw and the surrounding area. Our chocolates’ excellent craftsmanship appeals to traditionalists, while bold experiments with taste and visual effects seduce the seekers of sweet adventures.

Our confectionery takes a wide range of different forms: chocolate and chocolate-based products, desserts, cakes, pastries, pralines and truffles. In respect of the preferences of our Guests and Customers, everything can be prepared in both classic and modern forms. The Hotel’s confectionery is phenomenal, its creation made possible thanks to the commitment of our excellent team and their use of the highest-quality ingredients. The noblest varieties of Cacao Barry® chocolate are used as the basis for desserts accompanied by fresh, natural products, both local and exotic. Michał Iwaniuk, the Chocolate Master, has given his characteristic signature to confectionery production at the Airport Hotel Okęcie. Today, we can confidently talk about the Czekolada Café in terms of its brand recognition and unsurpassed quality. Michał Iwaniuk’s success also proves the level of success of our café, as well as his participation in Paris in the 2018 edition of the global, bi-annual World Chocolate Masters competition for the world’s best confectioners.

 
 
 

Our confectionery team was created organically. Currently, it consists of 6 specialists who are developing their skills at workshops and in competitions for professionals, competing with the best in the industry.

Our confectionery’s dynamic development has also resulted in the enlargement and modernization of our production facilities, motivating our young confectioners to reach their master’s heights. In February 2018, the team won the Polish Vice-championship in the Dessert Preparation category in the Master Challenge.

 

The Czekolada Mazovia

 

We love the momentum and support that our various team activities bring to powering the brand, and enjoy constantly amazing our Guests with delights from the Czekolada Café. Our latest surprise is the exclusive Mazovia line of pralines and desserts, derived from Michał Iwaniuk’s blended source chocolate, developed at the Or Noir laboratories in Paris. Master Iwaniuk has selected cocoa beans from different parts of the world, combining them to create a unique flavor and developing them into the velvety notes of forest fruits, deepened by the aroma of red flowers. The fresh, creamy, well-defined Mazovian notes – just like their namesake – bring the essence of Polishness to the chocolate-eating world.
